A first look at the store

There is a store on the site now, and it is a preview. You can look around, fill a cart and go all the way through checkout. Nothing can be bought.

A banner on every store page says Preview store: checkout records a mock order and takes no payment. The listings are samples, there to show the layout, and each one is marked as a sample.

What you can try

• Browse the catalog and open a product to see its pictures, its description and options such as size.
• Add things to your cart, or take them out again.
• Check out with your reader account or as a guest. The order is recorded with the status mock.
• Find your order afterwards: on your account page if you were signed in, or through the private link a guest receives.

The order page says it plainly as well: this is a preview, nothing was charged and nothing will ship.

What is still open

The store began as a mock shop for studio merchandise. Real products, prices, payment, shipping and tax have not been decided, and no payment provider is connected to it.

For now, the preview shows how browsing, the cart and orders work on the site, with nothing at stake for anyone who tries it.
