The Convergence Wiki has a home of its own

The Convergence Wiki now lives at convergencewiki.com, on the same new site as convergencestudios.net. It shares the studio site's style, with a cinematic feel of its own.

How it is laid out

  • A section for each kind of entry: characters, events, wars, holidays, locations, factions, species, items, deities, concepts, documents and worlds.
  • A timeline grouped by era, with every date written exactly as the fiction gives it.
  • An interactive map you can drag and zoom with a mouse, a finger or the keyboard, with its pins listed beside it. Without map artwork, it draws a star chart of the worlds.
  • Entry pages with a panel of facts, related entries, links back from other entries and the timeline moments that mention them.
  • Search, a list of recent changes, and a random entry for when you feel like wandering.

What is there today

The wiki holds little content for now. Each of the studio's published worlds has an entry, and the timeline has two moments, dated in the stories' own words. More of the lore has still to be brought in.

The front page also keeps the current date in the setting. At the moment it reads October 1st, 35 ATF.

Getting around

Addresses on the wiki's domain are short, such as convergencewiki.com/timeline, and older wiki links that start with /wiki/ redirect to them. The Wiki link in the studio site's header still takes you to the wiki as well.

Your reader account works on both sites, though each domain has its own sign-in. If you signed in on convergencestudios.net, sign in once more on the wiki to bookmark entries there.
